Sobre el Tour
Nuestro tour inicia en el pueblo de Curubandé, a 25min de Liberia, en la provincia de Guancaste. Una vez que llegan a nuestra ubicación, se alistan y luego nos dirigimos en carro 10min hasta el inicio del sendero. Desde ahí, comenzaremos a caminar a través del bosque a la orilla del río Blanco. Pasaremos por increíbles formaciones rocosas, cañones, cuevas y aguas cristalinas hasta que llegamos a ver la Catarata la Leona al final

Comenzaremos a caminar en el bosque a la par del río blanco que nace en el volcán Rincón de la Vieja. Al final, La Catarata la Leona estará esperando por nosotros.

The waterfall is not easy to get to or to find. Along the way you have to go across rivers, caves and even swim in the water in order to find La Leona Waterfall. You'll always have at least one or more guides with you at all times during the hike.
Yes, but you have to request a private tour. Kids in that age range have a slower pace and require extra attention from the guides, so that's why they can not go with the open tours. This tour is not suited for kids younger than 4 years old.

Yes you have to make a reservation. You have to let us know in advance you're coming. If you show up to our location and we don't have guides available you will have to wait between 2hrs up to 4hrs. If you reserve, you start exactly at the time you reserved the tour.
No, tenemos una oficina en el pueblo de Curubandé donde les vamos a recibir. Si usted no tiene vehículo 4x4 va a dejar su vehículo en el primer parqueo y nosotros le brindaremos transporte gratis hasta el inicio del tour. Si usted tiene carro 4x4 entonces puede seguirnos hasta el inicio del sendero donde tenemos otro parqueo. El camino hasta el segundo parqueo únicamente vehículos 4x4 puede subir. Vehículos pequeños se maltratan si intentan llegar al segundo parqueo.

No, you don't.
Even though we have to go through some ponds in order to get to the waterfall not knowing how to swim won't be a problem. We have life jackets available for anyone who requests one. If you have basic swimming skills such as floating, paddling, you are not required to wear a life jackets becasue the ponds are small and you can just get by with basic swimming skills.
